most recent update on mom,Marianne's heart 6-1-09

Mom is still in ICU recovering from her open heart surgery. The Dr. said she was in full congestive heart failure when she arrived and considering the complications of the 70 & 75% vein blockages that added stress to her heart it was just in time. They have replaced 1 valve and repaired another. They did 3 vein graphs that feed her heart.We expect a full recovery. But of course that is many months down the road. In the mean time I will keep you updated and report when she is strong enough to have visitors in her own hospital room. For now she is still recovering from the anesthesia and unaware of who is with her. I will be checking my e-mail at least once a day in the p.m. if you have any questions.

8-17-08 Last Entry

8-17-08 I have worked hard to get this blog up and going. Had this been a GOOD blog site it would be here. There would be 3 pages by now!!!! most of them the same since I have had to re enter or completely redo so many things. This has been great practice and a chance to wade right in. However, I am wasting time and energy treading the same words over and over. I want to get on with it already. I have my pit falls when it comes to some of this stuff but I'm no dummy. I'm going blog site shopping!! Bye Bye. I'd report back if this site is still around or at least working consistently. The way things have been working this may be the only lasting post that goes clicking its way to Cyber space. Just My Luck

Practice Blog post#1

8-10-08 I have begun another blog under a different title. It is the real one I won't mind people reading. I am going to use this one for practice and more private thought. "A secret garden" of sorts. My happy place where no one bothers. Here I can sort things out and be my own shrink. (I hope that goes well). I can also practice the detail bits of how to do all this bloggy stuff.Like how to spell check etc. If you hacked your way in here be kind I'm a newbie. Laugh if you must.just don't put this stuff out with mt pix. Not for me. For my boys.This stuff is forever, no recalls ya know?I could have great great great great kids who find this!! Oh,Oh! look what grammy did!!! Kind of a self warning I guess.
